Problem using quickgraph for autorouting in a graphical editor

Hi @all,

i have the following problem:
i have an existing objectstructure and an graphical editor for this structure. i want to use the graphviz component to "auto"-route my relations(my edges) between my elements(my vertices) to avoid loops and intersections between these relations.
So I can create a graph with all the information of my objectstructure, but now the problem...the graphviz component returns only a picture(or jpeg or something)...is there any function or component in quickgraph that gives me the generated positions of vertices and edges?
i need these generated positions to reallocate my elements and relations of my objectsructure in the graphical editor.

Thanks for Help :)

Msal can be used to that purpose. Graphviz has a mode where it dumps the positions of nodes as xml, then you would need to parse it.

ok, thanks for your answer, but what is Msal?

and where can I find the mode in graphivz which dumps the positions as xml?
